A project of the Governor's Early Childhood Cabinet
In July 2006, the Governor’s Early Childhood Education Cabinet, developed the State’s first Early Childhood Investment Plan, entitled Ready by 5 & Fine by 9. During their deliberations, the Cabinet formulated an Infant and Toddlers Planning Group to focus on the needs specific to families with children birth through two years old. In December 2007 and January 2008, there were ten listening forums held across the state to hear from communities about the needs of families with infants, toddlers and twos and what Connecticut can do to provide a more family supportive system. Click here to read the final report.
